Winter Time Change For Swinford Tidy Towns

Now that the Autumn is well and truly upon us, and the winter time change this weekend, the Swinford tidy towns Wednesday evening clean ups will be finishing for the winter months. We will however continue as usual every Saturday morning. If you would like to help out, we meet as usual at 11am at the No Name Club on Chapel St. All help most welcome.

Don’t forget, the clocks change this weekend. This *always* causes confusion! A handy way to remember when the clocks go back or forward is, “Spring Forward, Fall Back”. At 2AM on Sunday morning the clocks go back to 1AM. Remember however, most electronic clocks nowadays have DST* (Daylight Saving Time) built into them, and will change automatically. This can cause even more confusion (as has happened to me many times!).
