WEEE Recycling in Swinford on the 27th of September.
The WEEE recycling day will take place in Swinford again this year on Saturday 27th September. WEEE recycling will also take place in other locations around Mayo as per the list below. Dates and times to be confirmed so please check back again.

| Tues 27th Sept | Mayo | O’Hara Park GAA Grounds, Charlestown | 9am – 12pm |
| Sat 27th Sept | Mayo | Humbert Street Car Park, Ballina | 10am – 4pm |
Examples of items that can be recycled for free include:
- All types of batteries including farm fencing and automotive batteries.
- Torches, Power tools and other Small Electrical Devices.
- Fridges, Freezers, Washing Machines and Electric Ovens.
- PCs, TVs, Monitors.
- Energy Saving Lamps and other Lighting Equipment.
- Along with any other household WEEE you may have.
All large electrical items including washing machines, fridges, freezers etc can all be recycled for free. Basically anything with a plug or battery.

P.R.O. Swinford Tidy Towns. Committee meetings every Tuesday night at 8 in Gateway Hotel. Volunteers meet every Wednesday eve at 7pm (summertime) & every Saturday at 11am (all year) at No Name Club on Chapel St.
