With the clocks now gone forward to summertime, we have resumed our Wednesday evening clean up from this evening. We will meet as usual at 7pm at the “No Name Club” on Chapel street and continue every Wednesday evening, while the evenings are long.

First job up was the Kiltimagh road, from the corner of Park road all the way out to the by-pass. Over one mile in lenght, we got both sides of the road cleared of rubbish, 31 bags in total! Thanks to all the Tidy Towns volunteers that came out, we had ten this evening. It’s true what they say, “many hands make light work” and we got the lot finished in about an 1 1/2 hours.
We will continue with our Saturday morning clean up. Meet as usual at the “No Name Club” on Chapel Street at 11am.
