Tidy Towns Information Talk in Swinford

Tidy towns information talk in Swinford Cultural Centre recently.

Various tidy towns committees and groups in attendance on the night.

There was a great turnout last week in Swinford Cultural Centre for the Information talk for Tidy Towns Committees. The talk was given by Ms. Sharon Eastwood, National Tidy Towns Adjudicator in the Tidy Towns competition. Organisers of the information evening were Ms Sharon Cameron & Ms. Mary Ford, Environmental section with Mayo County Council.

There was a huge turnout on the night, 65 people in total from 28 different Tidy towns committees and groups. As well as Mayo, groups came from South Sligo, North Galway and Roscommon. Thanks again to all that came on the night. Apologies to anyone that we did not get to chat to afterwards, there was not enough hours in the evening!
