The national bike week 2015 takes place this year from the 13th to the 21st of June. National Bike Week is a promotion of all that’s great about bikes and cycling. Held over a week in June of each year with bike themed events organised by local authorities, community groups, Green Schools and cycling groups throughout Ireland.
Green schools hold regular COW days (cycle on Wednesdays) at their schools. The Green Schools national COW day this year will be held on Wednesday the 17th of June. All students, teachers and parents are encouraged to cycle to school on this day. This years target is to get over 5000 people cycling to school all over Ireland. This years Green Schools bike week will be held from the 13th to the 19th of June. Make sure to keep a record of everyone cycling to School.
