James is pictured here with mum and dad & two brothers with Cathal Kelly the Gateway Hotel who sponsored the Berg Go Cart.

Congratulations to local lad James Campbell who was the winner of the top of the range Berg go cart which was raffled by Swinford Tidy Towns. The raffle was held live on stage last night by Patrick Feeney and his band at the Siamsa Sraide festival here in Swinford. Thanks to Cathal Kelly and The Gateway Hotel who donated the go cart which is valued at €800. Thank you to everyone that bought lines for the raffle, we really appreciate your support. Safe driving James and keep under the speed limit!

Thanks to all the Swinford Tidy Towns Committee members and Volunteers, we had a busy few days during the festival with twice daily litter picks, at 10am and 7pm every day. Thanks to everyone who attended the Siamsa for using the litter bins, it really made our job a lot easier. All the litter bins were emptied morning and evening and they were all full every time! We hope everyone enjoyed the festival and hope to see you all again next year.
