Recycling Centre
Householders Recycle Free Wednesdays! For the months of June, July & August household recyclable waste will be accepted free on Wednesdays at Mayo County Council’s civic amenity centres at Rathroeen on the Killala Road in Ballina and Derrinumera on the Castlebar to Newport Road. Please note that the offer applies only to recyclable waste and not to items classified as hazardous such as old paint, pesticides and medicines.

P.R.O. Swinford Tidy Towns. Committee meetings every Tuesday night at 8 in Gateway Hotel. Volunteers meet every Wednesday eve at 7pm (summertime) & every Saturday at 11am (all year) at No Name Club on Chapel St.
