Happy Christmas 2016

Swinford Tidy Towns committee would like to wish all our Volunteers and everyone a very happy Christmas 2016 & a happy and prosperous New Year. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the Tidy Towns throughout the last year, and to anyone that helped out in any way. We would especially like to thank the many volunteers that came out with us through the year, the tidy towns would not exist without you. We got a lot of work done during the year and have started some more new projects, which we hope to complete next year. We look forward to your continued support for 2017 and to make next year an even bigger success for Swinford and Swinford Tidy Towns.

thank-you-road-signWe have taken a break from our weekly meeting for the Christmas and New Year. We will resume our weekly meeting on Tuesday evenings at 8 from Tuesday the 17th of January 2017. We will be continuing our weekly clean up around town during the Christmas & New Year period. Some of our volunteers might not however, be out as early in the mornings as they normally would during the year! Once again thanks to everyone that helped out in any way during the year. Enjoy the Christmas and New Year festivities.

We will have details of the free Christmas tree recycling collection points in Swinford early in the new year. We are awaiting confirmation of collection points and times. We presume that these will be the same as previous years.
