There will be free electrical recycling in Castlebar and Westport this Saturday 28th June. The recycling will be from 10 AM to 4 PM in Castlebar at Tesco car park and in Westport at the council yard/depot on the Ballinrobe road. Any electrical item with a plug on it can be recycled for free. Batteries can also be dropped off for recycling for free.
Other items that can be recycled for free include, TV’s & Arial’s, microwaves, IT equipment, Dishwashers, fridges & freezers, power tools, battery powered toys including depleted batteries and much more.
