Free Electrical Collection Swinford 1st April 2023

There will be a Free Electrical Collection Swinford 1st April 2023. The collection point this year is at Swinford community centre beside Swinford golf club. The collection is on Saturday the 1st of April from 10am to 4pm. Everything with a plug or battery, from a washing machine to a tv remote control will be accepted. Batteries and light bulbs also accepted.

WEEE Ireland organises and promotes public collection events of WEEE and waste batteries in areas which don’t have convenient access to civic amenity sites. Any household item with a plug or battery will be accepted at these collection events – from large items such as fridges, dishwashers, washing machines and tumble-dryers, to small household items such as remote controls, electric toothbrushes and everything in between. All waste batteries will be accepted free of charge, including AA and AAA batteries, torch batteries, watch batteries, car batteries and electric fence batteries. Florescent light tubes and light bulbs will also be accepted.
