2015 Tesco Swinford Clean Street League Award Winners Announced

Clean Street league event header

The 2015 Tesco Swinford clean street league award winners were announced at the Annual Awards Ceremony last night in the Gateway Hotel Swinford. The 2015 Clean Street league which is sponsored by Tesco Swinford, is now in its fourth year, with the inaugural competition in 2012. Once again Swinford Tidy Towns committee would like to thank Tesco Swinford for their continued support and sponsorship of the Clean Street League. The competition has grown more intense  in recent years, making the judging very difficult on our independent Adjudicators. The Tidy towns committee would like to thank the Adjudicators for what is a very time consuming job each month. There are 16 streets and some 25 or so estates to judge each month, which is no easy or quick task!

The Swinfrod Tidy Towns committee would like to thank everyone who took part in this years clean street league. As is very evident it has made a huge difference and the appearance of the town has improved hugely in the last few years. This is all down to everybody taking part, no matter how small, it all makes a difference! The committee would like to thank everybody who came out to the awards night in the gateway Hotel. We would like to thank Cllr Michael Smyth Swinford and Cllr Neil Cruise from Foxford for attending also. WE are looking forward to the 2016 clean street league already and which we will be beginning to plan for shortly.

Congratulations to this years 2015 Tesco Swinford Clean Street League Award winners and runners up.
