Christmas Tree Recycling In Swinford 2019

Mayo County Council are once again this year providing free Christmas tree recycling in Mayo. Christmas Tree Recycling In Swinford 2019 will be provided for at the council depot on Kilkelly road in Swinford. Now that the Christmas festivities are over and some of your new year resolutions broken, why not make a new resolution and recycle more? In Swinford and surrounding areas, trees will be accepted up until Saturday the 26th of January 2019 at the council depot on Kilkelly Rd.

Please ensure all decorations are removed from Christmas trees prior to recycling.

Please note that the below locations are the only drop-off points provided by Mayo County Council for Christmas Trees. Trees deposited at any other public locations will be treated as litter and Litter Pollution Fines will apply!

Recycling Banks

If your local recycling banks are full, which they usually are after Christmas and new year, please do not leave bottles, box’sor bags of bottles on the ground beside them. Please bring them home again. Most if not all the local refuse & recycling collection service providers now accept bottles in their recycling bins.
