2017 Mayo Litter Action League Competition

The 2017 Mayo Litter Action League Competition commences in April and the competition runs until September. Judging for the month of April begins next Monday the 10th. The judges can arrive in Swinford at any time after Monday. We will receive the monthly report from the judges on the 1st Monday of the month. For example, for this month, we will get the report on Monday 1st of May. We will have the monthly report published here and available for download later that evening.

We are asking everyone to help us out in the Mayo Litter League competition. We will continue our regular litter picks on Wednesday evenings at 7 and Saturday mornings at 11. We would ask everyone to keep the footpaths outside their premises litter and weed free. The judges can call around at any time! Swinford are in group A again, same as last year.

The groups for the 2017 Mayo litter action league competition are sorted as follows.

Group A Large towns (population over 1,000)

Group B Smaller towns (population 500 – 1000)

Group C Large Villages (populations <500)

Group D Smaller Villages
